CRISMART celebrates ten years

This year marks ten years since the founding of CRISMART, an occasion that was celebrated with a seminar at the Swedish National Defence College on November 15th.  Presentations were given by Bengt Axelsson, vice-dean of the Defence College; CRISMARTs founder, professor Bengt Sundelius, who gave a historic overview of the institute; Anna Jardfeldt Melvin, director of the Swedish Institute of International Affairs discussed the long term partnership of the two institutes; CRISMART director, professor Eric Stern talked about trends in Swedish crisis management; and finally, a speech by Helena Lindberg, general director of the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency concluded the seminar. Festivities followed afterwards with current and former employees as well as friends and partners of the institute celebrating ten years of CRISMART.
