Course Description Crisis Management: Decision making and Staff support 3-5 March 2009

The Folke Bernadotte Academy offers, in collaboration with the Center for Crisis Management Research and Training (CRISMART) at the Swedish National Defence College, a series of seminars to provide professionals working in the field of crisis management with a forum for competence-building and novel perspectives. The aim of the seminars is to bring together leading scholars in the fields of crisis management and leadership studies and practitioners with personal leadership experience or a professional interest in these fields. During the seminar, participants have the opportunity to exchange personal experiences, discuss lessons learned, and identify areas for further capacity building. The 2009, 3-5 March, seminar will focus upon challenges of crisis decision-making, best practices and development needs with regard to staff support.
