CRISMART researchers participate in conference in Glasgow

CRISMART researchers Lindy Newlove-Eriksson and Susann Ullberg are participating in the 8th Annual Conference of the European Sociological Association, held in Glasgow from September 3-6, 2007. The research network Disaster & Social Crisis (RN8) are arranging four panels, of which Lindy and Susann will each moderate one. They will also present the papers:

“The importance of ’Sheltering-in-place’ and ’Invacuation’: Balancing personal responsibility, public accountability and the role of voluntary organisations in times of crises” (Lindy Newlove-Eriksson)

 “29A – The making of post disaster politics from within” (Susann Ullberg)
