CRISMART course in crisis management at the Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College

CRiSMART has recently completely a three-day course in crisis management for military and police officers enrolled in a master's program at the Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College.  The students were primarily from Malaysia but there were even some from neighboring Singapore, as well as the Phillippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam.  The first two days of the course included a number of lectures about general crisis management, crisis communications, the use of expert advice in crisis, and the US military response to Hurricane Katrina.  These were followed by an extended table-top scenario exercise and group examination.
