The Swedish National Defence College/ CRISMART, The Swedish Institute of International Affairs and The Folke Bernadotte Academy has invited Dr. Guido Bertolaso from the Department of Civil Protection to give a lecture on the Italian Crisis Management system. Dr.Bertolaso's prompt response to the 2004 tsunami has served as a role model for other European Countries' crisis management development.
