Pär Daléus

Pär Daléus is Training Director at CRISMART and Senior Analyst with many years of experience in crisis management training. Pär Daléus holds a Master’s degree in political science from Uppsala University and the Swedish National Defence College with a focus on international cooperation and crisis management. He is currently engaged in Ph. D studies at Stockholm University. His dissertation concerns political leadership and crisis management and explains the leadership style of Swedish prime ministers. He is the author of The Tsunami Catastrophe: The Mass Media and Public Authorities’ Account of the Handling of the Crisis in Sweden, (SOU 2005: 104), and is co-author of The Politics of Tsunami Responses: Comparing Patterns of Blame Management in Scandinavia in Governing After Crisis: The politics of investigation, accountability and policy change (Boin, t ‘Hart, McConnell, Cambridge University Press). Pär has previously worked as a special advisor on crisis management and preparedness for the Swedish Government Offices.
