Dan Hansén

Dan Hansén

Dan Hansén defended his doctoral dissertation Crisis and Perspectives on Policy Change: Swedish Counter-terrorism Policymaking in April 2007 at Utrecht School of Governance, the Netherlands. His studies have focused on Swedish crises with a law and order character, such as the 1975 drama at the West-German Embassy in Stockholm, and the Killing of Olof Palme in 1986. The PhD-thesis departs from insights that crisis management includes more than the acute response phase, and that policy developments over long periods of time are important components. Dan has also had responsibility for CRISMART's Latvian branch.
