I kronologisk ordning behandlar boken flygplanskapningen på Bulltofta 1972, Norrmalmstorgsdramat 1973, ockupationen av den västtyska ambassaden i Stockholm 1975, Palmemordet 1986, polismorden i Malexander 1999 och Göteborgskravallerna 2001. Mordet på utrikesminister Anna Lindh i september 2003 berörs i en epilog. Varje fallbeskrivning utgår ifrån de våndor och dilemman som beslutsfattare på olika nivåer och från olika delar av sektorn ställdes inför.

Auckland Unplugged

It documents the response of the local and national governments, the stricken power provider, corporations, and citizens alike to an extended power outage which crippled the financial capital of New Zealand for over two months. This scientific report concludes with a summary of practical lessons drawn from the case experience which may be of interest to the practitioner community.
